Join acclaimed outdoor and nature photographer, Richard Bernabe for an intensive session on Photoshop and Photoshop Elements basics.

Have you tried to learn Photoshop or Photoshop Elements in a book or manual? In a formal classroom at your local community college? This is different! Richard uses the everyday english language in a fun, fast-paced, dynamic presentation that will melt away any frustration or intimidation you've experienced in the past.

Topics:

1) Getting Started. How does one get started anyway? Avoid bad habits. Start out (or re-learn) the the basics the right way.

2) Tools: Which are essential and which are merely gimmicks. Learn how to use them the right way.

3) Image Adjustments: Curves, Levels, Brightness/Contrast, Hue/Saturation. Here is where the fun begins.

4) Working in Layers: An awakening!

5) Using Layer Masks: Now you are in control of the image!

6) Get perfect color fidelity every single time. No more frustration!

7) Get your digital images to look just like film.

8) Create stunning black and white conversions just like the traditional darkroom.

9) Image formats: Which is best? JPEG, RAW, TIF, PSD, DNG, and other acronyms.

10) File Management and Digital Workflow. Efficiency and protection are paramount.

And much, much more. There is plenty of time to ask questions as well.

You may bring your laptop, but one is not necessary. You will leave with helpful guides and tutorials that reinforce the concepts that Richard explained in class.

We start at 9:00 am and finish at 5:00 pm with an hour break for lunch.

Tuition is $75 (plus $5.12 for processing). Space is limited so reserve your spot today!
